Joy and Paul have been married for over 40 years and have three adult married children.They established their private practice and consultancy in 1984, specialising in relationships (personal, professional and organisational). They work with people privately and in organisations. Since 1984 they have developed and run a broad range of experiential, insightful workshops & seminars in areas ranging from staff development and training to meditation and relaxation.

Paul's educational background is in education, business and psychology and his experiences have been in management, personnel and administration in the public and private sectors and as a senior lecturer in curriculum design and developmental psychology. Paul has also held senior management positions with the Victorian government.
In addition to his private practice, Paul has been a consultant with hospitals, government bodies, private companies and owner operated businesses as well as designing and conducting tailored courses. For over 15 years, Paul privately facilitated men’s groups, women’s dream circles, couples groups and meditation, relaxation and movement groups and has recently come out with MenSpeak (see www.MenSpeak.co). Paul also has been a registered Celebrant since 2006 (see www.paulmottcmc.com).

Joy’s areas of expertise are in grief & loss, drug & alcohol, women & empowerment, relationship counselling and personal development. Joy worked at the Melbourne Coroner’s Court supporting people who were identifying family members after a sudden death and offering counselling and support during the inquest. She learnt a great deal about death, loss and the grieving process. She also trained volunteers to support families though traumas of sudden death and grieving.
In her consulting, Joy facilitated therapy groups at the Melbourne Clinic for 7 years. Joy has conducted a variety of personal development courses and staff training sessions as well as being in private practice.
